05.31.10: Recording of our new record has begun. We spent a day in the studio with Eli Crews over at New, Improved Recording and committed 18 takes to 2" magnetic tape. And it sounds great so far.

Ovipositor is an ongoing experiment in groove versus disonance. Colin Frangos plays the guitar and does most of the singing. Mark Pino plays the drums and does some of the singing. Max Sidman plays the bass.
We’ve been compared to Pere Ubu, The Fall, MX-80, and Mission of Burma, amongst others. We’ve been called punk, although who really knows what that means anymore? And anyway I don't remember the summer of punk because I was too busy playing with my GI Joe.
We are not pretty, we are not young, we are not sexy, we are not charismatic, we are not hip, we are not your friends. Please enjoy the music.
